Webinar: The demand for financing climate projects in cities

This webinar covers a new report demonstrating just how fast cities are taking action on climate change. The C40 Cities Finance Facility, CDP and GCoM found that cities submitted 1,143 projects in almost 400 cities worth close to $60 billion US dollars.

The report is the first-ever in-depth analysis of infrastructure projects around climate change in cities. It finds that there are projects across sectors, regions, and of many sizes, but with more than 20% of projects greater than $100m. The potential impacts are enormous, but cities need more resources to prepare their projects, particularly in the early stages, and to access finance for these projects.
